The goal was to design a captivating book cover for the fantasy/adventure novel The Last Alchemist, using colour and typography to reflect its mystical, ancient themes. The cover needed to evoke intrigue while remaining professional and readable for both digital and print formats.

I drew inspiration from alchemical imagery, ancient texts, glowing symbols, and worn textures. A deep colour palette of indigo, gold, and earthy browns was used to convey mystery and timelessness. For typography, I chose an bold san-serif for the title to engage the reader, complemented by the author’s name in the same font to maintain hierarchy and clarity.

The cover was created in Adobe Express using layered effects, high-resolution imagery, and thoughtful composition. The final result reflects the tone of an epic, magical journey and showcases my ability to design within genre-specific aesthetics while maintaining visual impact and commercial appeal.
