Connor and His Little Dragon began as a way to hold onto the bedtime stories my Mom used to tell my son. While I couldn’t remember every detail, I worked with AI to help rebuild the story from the pieces I did remember, shaping it into something new that still carried the same heart and imagination. It became a sweet little tale about a boy and his dragon friend, filled with wonder, comfort, and the quiet magic of childhood.

The 14-page book features AI-generated illustrations, carefully chosen and refined to match the tone and feel of the story. I guided the entire creative process, editing the text, selecting visuals that felt complimentary, and designing the layout using tools like Adobe InDesign and Photoshop. I made sure every page felt balanced, readable, and visually engaging for young readers.

Even though it was built with the help of modern tools, the heart of this book is deeply personal. It’s a tribute to the stories my mom shared, and a gift to my children, something they can one day read to their own children. A way for a little piece of my Mom to live on, page by page.
